Every Sunny Cove vanity starts with a conversation and ends with cabinetry that's built, not assembled. Our craftsmen hand-build each vanity from solid hardwood in our own shop, using the same joinery generations of Amish cabinetmakers have relied on — sized, styled, and finished for your bathroom alone.
No shortcuts, no laminate boxes. Here's exactly what's in every Sunny Cove vanity.
Every vanity is built around one of four door constructions. We'll bring samples of each to your in-home consultation so you can see and feel the difference.
Doors and drawer fronts sit close to the frame with a clean, narrow reveal. Includes the ever-popular Shaker profile.
Doors and drawer fronts sit flush inside the frame opening, for a tailored, furniture-like look.
The same flush fit as Inset, with a decorative 1/4-inch bead milled around every opening.
A streamlined, Euro-style build with no face frame — just a narrow 1/8-inch reveal at every door and drawer.
Not sure which is right for your bathroom? Full Overlay and Frameless tend to suit modern and transitional bathrooms; Inset and Beaded Inset lean traditional and furniture-style. We'll talk through the trade-offs — cost, cleaning, and look — during your consultation.
We come to you, measure the space, and talk through how you actually use your bathroom day to day.
Back at the shop, we draft your first layout. You share feedback and we refine it until it feels right.
We lock in measurements, sink and faucet specs, and your door construction — Full Overlay, Inset, Beaded Inset, or Frameless.
Your vanity is hand-built and finished in our shop, then installed by our insured, trusted subcontractors.
Every vanity gets the same construction as our kitchen cabinetry — solid hardwood, dovetailed drawers, and a low-VOC finish that holds up to steam, splashes, and daily use.
Sunny Cove Cabinetry is based at 601 Old Wilmington Rd in Coatesville, PA, and builds custom bathroom vanities for homeowners and builders throughout Chester County.
Amish craftsmanship, close to home. Our building tradition comes from the same Amish cabinetmaking roots found throughout neighboring Lancaster County — Intercourse, Strasburg, Bird-in-Hand, and beyond. Wherever you're building, the joinery, materials, and hand-finishing stay the same.
Yes. We offer full design services in-house, and we're just as happy working alongside your own designer if you already have one.
Yes. Once you choose a countertop, our trusted subcontractors handle fabrication and installation. We recommend quartz for low maintenance, though granite works well too if it's polished every year or two.
It depends on the sink. If you pick your sink out at the countertop shop, it's included. If you're supplying your own sink or a vessel sink, we'll need it at our shop before we begin.
Yes, that's standard on every vanity we build. It brings peace of mind in case there's any condensation buildup in the cabinet.
Standard vanity height runs about 32 to 36 inches to the countertop, taller than the old 30-inch standard and more comfortable for most adults. Because every Sunny Cove vanity is custom-built, we can adjust height to fit your household.
Four constructions: Full Overlay (includes Shaker), Inset, Beaded Inset, and Frameless — see the comparison above. We'll bring samples of each to your in-home consultation.
